What is Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT)?
Since February 2022, all applicants for a CDL license must complete ELDT before they can take the CDL driving skills exam.
ELDT includes two parts:
1. Theory – This can be done here online or in person in a classroom. Online training saves you time and money and is more consistent than in-person training.
2. Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) – Hands-on, in-vehicle training must be completed at a registered provider before you take your CDL driving skills exam.
